Pearl Lounge Gili Trawangan

When you get to Gili T and if you are after some excellent food, great tunes and a beachside hang out, then from the main jetty, turn left and walk perhaps 800 meters and just past Villa Ombak you will find the Pearl Beach Lounge. You can choose to sit absolute ocean front, or across the road you will find a the pool with the waterfall and swim up bar. Such a soothing place. If you swim out the drop off ( be careful of the currents you will find the most beautiful reef and we saw 2 sea turtles and loads of beautiful tropical fish. We enjoyed burgers, a chicken sandwich and the best scallops with green chili. An awesome place to spend a few hours. You can stream their music through the website check it out !

  1. Hi little miss, it has been a delight to discover your blog recently and also to spot these irresistible beach lounges. When I visited Pearl a few months ago, “I’ll just sit and have one drink” turned into a whole afternoon of relaxation. It’s just toooo lovely. Look forward to your future posts!

  2. Hi!

I will travel to Indonesia with my 4 year old child. I really would love to visit Lombok for 1 week, but i’m a bit afraid because of malaria…

Can i ask you what kind of malaria medicin you where using for your children? Do you think there is a high risk to travel for one week without taking any malaria tablets?

    Thank you,

    • Hello Jess, I don’t think the risk of Malaria is high in either Lombok or Bali however best thing to do would be to talk to your family doctor. You do need to be aware of dengue fever however and do your best to avoid mosquito bites. x
