Batik Air Test flight

Selamat Pagi Friends,

Hey, I just wanted to let you all know I recently tested out the Batik Air, Malindo Perth – Bali – Perth route. I paid around $500 AUD however it was a last minute trip. The plane was small and old, however it was clean and had heaps of leg room. I had 30kg check in luggage which is great. The plane seem to be bumped to low priority on both tarmacs, having to walk down onto the tarmac like the good old days at Perth and also in Bali with getting the bus to the Arrivals terminal. I got a small meal on the plane and 1 drink and no alcohol. There were a choice of 8 old movies to choose from, no blankets or pillows. Lastly when arriving in Bali they didn’t hand out Customs cards so be sure to grab one and complete one quickly before joining to customs lines, after collecting your luggage as heaps of people were getting sent back to complete one. I will happily fly with Batik again( that’s if Garuda remains so expensive 🙊).

Kooshy Kids

Now why weren’t these available when my boys were tiny, such a cool idea, how good are Kooshy Kids ??? ✈️✈️✈️✈️The Kooshy Kids Kooshion is changing the way that families travel. Once inflated, the Kooshion fills the space between plane seats allowing young children to spread out and even lay flat (see pics) . Australian designed and owned, the Kooshion has now been approved on over 30 airlines, including Garuda Indonesia and Air Asia and is ideal for long haul flights, especially overnight. Unfortunately Jetstar & Qantas do not permit the use of this product at this stage. For a full list of approved airlines, to find our more, or to purchase, head to www.kooshykids.com.au
